Yes like a month ago. It's one of the reasons I moved back.

Also because I want to help establish St. George into the next great American town

years ago I moved back to LA after having gotten to where I wanted to be in my career, I moved back explicitly so that I could devote almost all of my non-working time to all things LSU, the TAF and Curly Hallman sure fricked that up for me

After 30+ years living in suburban Dallas and suburban Atlanta, my wife and I could not wait to return to BR in 2015. BR is a much better place to live (for 2 retired schoolteachers) that suburban Dallas or suburban ATL.

We live in South BR and do all kinds of things mostly in South BR including attending LSU fball, MBB, WBB, and baseball games. Never have any problems and the traffic is nothing compared to what people in big cities face daily. Folks are nice to us everywhere we go in BR. I love living in BR.

Could you love a spouse if he/she treated you like LSU treats its fans.

These veins bleed purple and gold. Two generations of my family have taught there and many of us spent our entire academic lives on campus.

I was born and grew up in BR, moved away many years ago but I’d rather live in MS than BR. I don’t even like visiting BR and rarely come into town even when I’m south LA.

Yes, that happened with me.

Moved to Houston after Katrina. (Mrs. Semjase was my Fiance' at the time and lived in Houston)

We bought a house outside Pensacola in 2008. We loved the Beach, but did not like the community. It was just a Southeast Extension of Redneck Alabama with an awesome Beach attached.

Since I was an LSU Alum/Lover, we decided to try Baton Rouge. Didn't like at all. Unlivable City. Filthy and too much traffic for the size.

LSU "Game Day Experience" no longer worth it with the PIM and all the other well known hassles. Not enough "Bang for the Buck" any longer.

We moved to East Central Florida in 2020 and haven't looked back.

I don't miss anything about Louisiana except for the Food and being able to attend an LSU Football or Basketball game when a specific game overides the hassles and annoyance of attendence.........

Jim Hawthorne’s voice came in clear in San Angelo, Texas. I didn’t need the scum of Baton Rouge shooting me up at a RaceTrac.

I would list it as a perk, but it definitely wouldn't be a reason. I really enjoy going to home football games and baseball at the box, but not enough to determine where I live. I live in BR because I'm f&%king trapped here and will never escape. I actually died a while back, and I'm in one of the low levels of purgatory.

I grew up in BR in the ‘70’s and ‘80’s. I was a Boy Scout usher for God only knows how many LSU games. I went to LSU and graduated with undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.

Then work took me out of state and although I’ll always be a Tiger, I just don’t see moving back without a LOT of money being on the table. The BR of my childhood is long gone. I may move again, but I’m not likely to swap out the mountains for the bayous.

Let me rephrase this all, would you ever move back to the BR/North Shore/Nola areas from out of state to be closer to LSU?
