They just can't help themselves:

"Recent studies" show that all of the ills of fatherless are just an illusion, kids might ever do better with single moms, etc etc.

We are getting Orwell'd every single f***in' day.

True. Byron Donald's is a great example

However, the odds are WAY worse for single mom houses

No legitimate scientific study can EVER conclude that being raised by a single parent is beneficial.

I can't believe that ANY news organization would run such a story - even CNN.

I subscribe to Denzel Washington's stance on fatherless housholds. Either a father is going to raise you or the street is going to play father.

You cannot ignore all the overwhelming evidence that powerful entities want nothing more than the complete destruction of the family and what creates family formation.

Sex organ castration
Promotion of LGBTQ exclusively
Anti-nuclear families
Glorifying single motherhood
Glorifying sexual lifestyles that are not conducive for healthy child rearing/family formation

From the article:

quote:

A 2017 study, however, looked at the long-term effects of single parenthood on kids and found that it had nearly no impact on their general life satisfaction

A 6 year study is not a long term study, and "life satisfaction" is a relative measurement. They should look at measurable success elements.

quote:

A separate 10-year study on single parenting that collected data from 40,000 households in the UK came to a similar conclusion last year. “There is no evidence of a negative impact of living in a single parent household on children’s wellbeing, with regard to self-reported life satisfaction, quality of peer relationships, or positivity about family life,” the report states.

There is that "satisfaction" again.

quote:

Speaking for myself, I’d go further and say there were benefits to being raised by a single mother, that it was foundational to becoming the adult I am now.

It's all fun and games

Being raised by a single parent required an Emersonian amount of self-reliance. I got myself to school in the morning, figured out how to apply to college, paid my way through that education and embarked on a career with no shortcuts or introductions

There it is. This author was "self motivated" so he didn't need a father. Never mind that 90% of children are not and that there is a clear deficit in not having that kind of grounding from a good, or even just not bad, father figure.

To be fair they do mention in passing that two parent households are more resource and emotionally accommodating but...

We all know why they wrote this article.

If you scroll to the end of the article it states the article was published in 2019. They’re just rehashing shitty articles.

Unless a father is abusive, not one kid of any race is gonna pick single parent over both parents.

It’s not even close.

CNN chose a narrative and then found a study to support even though it was from 4 years ago.

No matter what they say, they are attempting to overturn God’s created order, including the natural two-parent organization of the household.

Everything this culture produces is a rejection of the godly standards in favor of a rule based on man’s sin.

Not true and the Communist News Network should be ashamed for such nonsense. I have been working with troubled teenagers for 30 years. I can't count the number who have been abused by mom's scumbag live in boyfriend.

Benefits include creating a generation of citizens that are more dependent on government assistance.

Clown News Network is dead arse wrong.

What a messed up world CNN is promoting.

What about studies showing kids thrive with both biological parents?

Every single buddy I've had in my life who've had divorced parents, and dads that werent around, have drunk confessed to me that they were jealous of me for having a father that was involved in my life. To the point that at a point in my younger years I was kind of cautious about speaking about my dad in front of certain people.

They were all solid guys and friends, with their issues, but still would have been better men with a legit father in their lives. I remember one who wished his stepped dad would have punished him more instead of paying to get him out of trouble to keep his mom happy.

Dismissing this need like this is not good for society, and straight diabolical and an anti-Christian stance by CNN.
