Is Florida States exclusion justified...

By the fact they couldn't win the National Title under any old systems?
Say its 1996 (pre-BCS), the Rose Bowl would be the defacto National Title game (AP#1 Michigan vs. AP #2 Washington)
FSU would probably be playing Big12 Texas in the Orange Bowl, hoping Michigan/Washington look like shite and Alabama wins the Sugar...thereby boosting a win over Texas.
1998 onward...BCS...FSU is supposedly #4 using the CPU model.
It would take massive lobbying for post-bowl votes but even the undefeated SEC champ (2004 Auburn) didn't even sniff the votes.
FSU gets left out in pretty much every scenario outside of when the champ was declared before bowl games...and even then...no National cache.
Tell me a scenario, where they could ever win it?...playoffs, was actually their only chance... And that ain't happening.

FSU went wire to wire ranked #1 in 1999. Went 14 straight seasons finished ranked in the Top 5. Name another school who did that and FSU didn’t shy away from scheduling tough teams.

FSU could have had a 12-team Playoff this season had they not gone down the rabbit hole with the great "Alliance."
But once on the field, they never would have made the winner's circle with that team. So no, they couldn't win it this year.

Challenge accepted. Let's take yesterday's result on national recruiting. I would submit that part of the emotional bias on the part of humanoids in selecting the 4 BEST teams is the crazy amount of talent coming through the SEC. Particularely BAMA. You see it with your eyes and you know it from the recruiting polls. It soon becomes part of your football sub-conscience and bam, the muscle memory automatically pushes the Crimson and White lever in crunch time.

The Georgia / Bama SEC championship was the real NCG if you consider the NCG a contest between the 2 best teams.

This is horseshite. It’s why you play the game. NOBODY knows the outcomes of any games. Florida St. did everything asked of them to make the playoffs. They went undefeated and won their conference championship. Doesn’t matter who is hurt or how they looked in doing it. Undefeated is undefeated with conference championship. If a committee can say this team or that team wouldn’t win because of this or that, then why are we even playing the games. Money made shouldn’t even come into the conversation, these kids earned that right. Don’t care how a team looks now compared to earlier in season. The whole season should matter.

If UGA is so good, how does Bama beating Georgia make their playoff spot "unearned"?

Struggling with their soft schedule even with their starting QB, then looking completely hopeless with their backup against a Louisville team that got smoked by Kentucky and a 3-9 Pitt, it's not exactly difficult to see why they were left out.
Two 1-loss teams were chosen over FSU, and they would be huge underdogs against every team in the top 4. There's nothing to discuss if you look at everything objectively.

The ONLY reason FSU is not in the CFP is Bama converted a 4th and 31 against a bad Auburn team. That’s it ,otherwise they would be in with a back up QB.
