The incompetence

It's real easy to armchair quarterback the actions of men under duress during a gun fight. Unless you've been there, you have no fricking clue how quick things can go to the shitter. Keep your criticism and "expert opinion" to yourself next time jabroni.

Pray for those involved, this is a traumatizing event for everyone, especially the man who pulled the trigger.

Funny how we offer junior enlisted lower pay, worse job conditions, and still somehow hold them to higher standards and training than current day LEO.

If only we had a legal mechanism to hold LEO to strict ROE, or a means to pursue them under dereliction of duty or the like such as it exists under UCMJ.

Nah, everyone here has been few gunfights before and have successfully killed all the bad guys and saved the good guys....at least in their video game world.

The cop(s) that accidentally shot her are probably on suicide watch. This a terrible outcome for everyone except the POS father.

The man who pulled the trigger should be traumatized, and he should also be put in jail.

I hope hes not traumatized yet. Hes got a lot to deal with when they lock him up. If I were him, Id be prepping how I was going to do my time.

Yeah, because he murdered an innocent child, and will now face the consequences of it.

Sorry, I have no sympathy for this kind of shite.

Im a contractor, my skill are building and fixing things. If you are a police officer, your skills should be handling intense situations that involve gunfire

You know who it isn't traumatizing for? The 15 year old girl who got shot after being abducted by her father, who killed her mother. You know why it isn't traumatizing her? Because she's dead after being shot by the police who were supposedly there to rescue her.

Spare me about how "especially" traumatizing it is for anyone else.

It's really not that hard to not shoot the person you're supposed to save. Especially when they are several feet apart.

Get out of here with this crap. Don't get into a line of work that can put you in said situations if you're not going to be trained well enough & mentally capable of operating under duress. A little girl is now dead because a kid in tac gear was approaching them, unarmed & under command to do so.

After watching the video you sound like even more of a dumbass. You clearly see a child walking slowly to officers, crouching down, and then once commanded to come to officers crouching up and begin walking to them before getting absolutely lit up.

It's funny, the 15yr girl could keep her head and follow police commands all while bullets were flying and things were "in the shitter," but we're supposed to excuse the officer/officers who couldn't properly ID their target or keep their damn fingers off their triggers? GTFO.

This is the craziest assed thing I’ve read in here in quite a while.

This isn’t your junior varsity basketball team where everyone gets to play. You give someone a gun and make them responsible for life or death decisions then they better damn well be able to bear the responsibility for those actions. If they can’t/won’t do that then they aren’t qualified for the job.
