Sometimes I go walk in Highland Park, TX (I can't afford to live there), I don't see hardly any visibly tattooed people there.

Who knows when it’ll fade but statistics say that the majority of this board is from the Deep South and overweight, wearing a brightly colored PFG shirt with cargo shorts and hey dudes, ironically calling people with tattoos trashy.

They are more accepted and available now than any other time in history. Legit shops too that have safety and health standards much like a doctor's office.

They have also become way more artistic and portrait like versus the strictly goofy symbols of old.

Not actually wearing a PFG shirt but I'll take these shoes over Hey Dudes any day.

Tattoos rise started in the 90's. It's not going anywhere. Before the 90's it was just gang members (motorcycle etc) and military that would get them.

Seems like in the past tattoos were just working class, bikers, and military. Now it is very common amongst middle class people

As far as I’m concerned “working class” and “middle class” are the same thing. Regardless why does it matter to you?

I know a nice looking woman who has a full sleeve on one of her legs.

It did not improve her appearance.

Her boob job, on the other hand, was exceedingly well done.

Yes, no one in the south is successful.

I like to double down on the trashy side with 7 tattoos, all covered a short sleeve brightly covered PFG shirt. I class it up with 5 in inseam shorts and OluKai shoes though

Unfortunately too late for one of my nieces. She's mid 20's, blonde, great complexion, athletic build and pretty as can be.

But, she's gone and gotten at least 5 tats that are visible on her arms, legs and back and who knows how many more that are less visible.

To me, she's looking trashier and trashier by the day.

When I was a kid most of my dad’s friends were WWII navy veterans. Many of them had rather interesting tattoos. One guy had a topless hula girl. It got to be rather funny watching her sag and fade as the guy aged.
Ive never had the desire for a tattoo after watching these guys age.
