Why are you yelling "modern" so much?

Graffiti looks like shite. Only in a few select places does it pass.

Of all the places I have to visit for work, Los Angeles features one of the most obvious declines since the pandemic. Most places have gotten worse (even the Texas cities and smaller towns like Baton Rouge, OKC, and Birmingham have gotten worse), but for some reason Los Angeles' homeless and vagrant problem has exploded to a level that is impossible to ignore.

Other notable cities whose downtowns that have declined rapidly: Minneapolis and San Francisco

Squatters rarely tag. These are street artists who are breaking in.

I noticed this when I cut through downtown a few weeks ago. For a moment, I thought it was intentional.

Serious question.

Do you think that every homeless person is either an illegal or a lazy criminal that doesn't want to work?

I bet the Ritz Carlton is just loving that next door.
