South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has seen her chances of becoming Donald Trump's 2024 running mate fall dramatically after reports of her shooting her "untrainable" dog emerged, according to an online prediction market.

Polymarket, a platform where users can place "yes" or "no" bets on the likelihood of world events, is currently giving Noem a 3 percent chance of potentially being the next Republican vice president.

On Friday, Noem was given a 5 percent chance of being selected as Trump's next running mate, down from 10 percent the previous day. On March 25, Polymarket was listing Noem as the second favorite with 9 percent chance, behind South Carolina Senator Tim Scott on 22 percent.

The decline in Noem's chances of being Trump's running has coincided with extracts of her book being published by British newspaper The Guardian that revealed she shot her 14-month old pet dog, Cricket, because of its aggressive behavior.

Sort of an anti-Checkers, anti-Fala premise.

All these weak arse excuses for men in this thread, crying about a chicken eating dog being killed….yet will gladly sit down and stuff their fat faces with beef and pork all day.

So, does a dog occupy a higher place in the animal kingdom than cattle, pigs or birds? What about unborn children?

One other thing, unless you’ve had an aggressive dog try and eat the face off one of your children, sit this one out. Do you get all soft when someone kills a Pit?

You people crack me up how you justify one act and condem another.

It’s funny watching people in this thread who defend abortion cry over a dog.

If you think killing a dog is bad, and speaks to the character of the person who killed the dog, wait until you examine the character of people who kill innocent babies

This is a classic rage bait story for useful idiots.

I expect the retard from yesterday to post trash like this but thought you were better. Guess not.

The killing of the dog is one thing, but honesty the way she killed the goat is worst in my opinion.

“Noem decided to kill the unnamed goat the same way she had just killed Cricket the dog. But though she “dragged him to a gravel pit”, the goat jumped as she shot and therefore survived the wound. Noem says she went back to her truck, retrieved another shell, then “hurried back to the gravel pit and put him down”.

What type of inhumane moron does this. Have some decency for the animal and ensure it’s done right if you’re doing it. Dumb count.

That happens sometimes unfortunately. We had to put down a dog that bit a kid.

Adults make adult decision.

This is a fundamental disconnect. City slicker soccer moms can't even fathom the idea of a hunting dog

To me, and I’d like to think most folks that vote for Trump, this has zero effect as to if I’d support her. She grew up on a farm, this was a very aggressive dog that was dangerous! We kill humans that display that same behavior. This is liberal and RINO “dog whistle”! More attempts to prevent American first ideas.
