All these weak arse excuses for men in this thread, crying about a chicken eating dog being killed….yet will gladly sit down and stuff their fat faces with beef and pork all day.

So, does a dog occupy a higher place in the animal kingdom than cattle, pigs or birds? What about unborn children?

One other thing, unless you’ve had an aggressive dog try and eat the face off one of your children, sit this one out. Do you get all soft when someone kills a Pit?

You people crack me up how you justify one act and condem another.

Unquestionably, yes.

If she ate the dog fine

Killing to kill versus killing to eat is different

Also she failed the dog as a trainer

Anyone defending this is an idiot.

Let me know if you want to accept that or if you want to roll.

Is that what happened? It would certainly change the reaction to the story.

Yea a-hole, we want the best treatment as possible, I don want my beef killed in an inhumane way nor do I condone people killing pets.

Are you an American? Were you born yesterday? Obviously dogs are on a very high standard above every animal you listed. To act otherwise you’re either dishonest or retarded. And BTW that’s the exact same defense that the “community” had for Michael Vick so congrats on the good company.

I don't have a problem with it. I personally would try another solution. But I get it. And ultimately on a farm it's the way of life and not inhumane.

But I read the question as: why on earth volunteer this information knowing you have to attract swing voters and especially women who've never ventured beyond grocery stores, Costco and suburban trendy )
"farmers markets" for food?

Well, we don't eat dogs here, so yes.

There were other options than killing her dog. Very trashy thing to do.

I'm sure she could have given it away.

No, of course not.

Agreed. Part of the bad behavior was aggression towards its owner (Noem). I wouldn't tolerate that behavior either. A dog like that isn't safe to be around and unfortunately needs to be put down.

Republicans are seriously lacking in testosterone these days. The dog attacked other animals. It had to be put down. It sucks, but real men make tough decisions. Noem has more guts than most of the people in this thread. It's no wonder Republicans keep losing to democrats when the "men" are too scared to do the right thing because it hurts their feelings too much.

The first time your dog kills a chicken, you beat the absolute shite out of the dog with the corpse.

It won’t ever touch chickens again.

To read these boards, you would think maybe dogs ARE occupying a higher place. I can scarcely think of a more unifying topic on here than a dog being mistreated. Hilarious to see MAGA reverse even THAT.

I bet they wouldn’t have a problem shooting a breed of peace dog when it became aggressive though. ????

In my lifetime I've had to put down 3 dogs because they went after the livestock. Two I had from pups. I cried as I did it but it had to be done.

I thought being a bitch was un-American but I guess I was wrong.

I am nor crying nor concerned, but I am tired of seeing people that could possibly bring a conservative view point to governance go and step on their own dick. Do what you want, it is your dog, but keep it to yourself.
