This is how absurd Star Wars has gotten. One of the bad guys (haven’t watched enough to know if she’s Sith) stabs a Jedi in the back that is non-binary and kills him/her, however the killer still has enough respect to use the Jedi’s they/them preferred pronouns after murdering him/her in cold blood. The franchise has long jumped the shark and there’s no coming back from it: Libs of TikTok

I don’t think people care whether or not there are girls in the shows. I think people care that there is a distinct lack of white males that aren’t bad guys to the degree that it’s very pointed. I mean look at The Acolyte…That and the budgets for a lot of these shows are just dog shite. Kenobi has a third of Andor’s budget like wtf? 
Look at Mando Seasons 1-2. Look at Rogue One. Look at Bad Batch and Andor. Give Star Wars good characters and good writing and the fans will come back. They just haven’t done that.
