Hate to say this but LSU can't guard the perimeter because they are not physically quick enough. When you can't guard the perimeter it's easy for the other team to drive to the paint and dish.
We really can't expect any improvement in this area. Our guys are just too slow on the perimeter and it's not something you can drastically improve on...you have to be born with elite quickness. We don't have it.

Just to ease some tension in here but you’ll never be able to completely defend a team that shoots it well and then is unconscious from behind the line. My concern is the poor possessions LSU has on offense. You won’t catch up when your offensive players are completely out of the play and you are jacking up trash with 20 left on the shot clock. The tigers will have to be methodical and play physical defense to have a chance to claw back in it.
Btw...LSU has given up 3’s like this for a few years. You don’t expect them to make every single one. Haha. Let’s see if we get more help defense in the 2nd half. If so, look for another 15 corner threes off of a screen

We are too slow. I've accepted the fact that it's something that we won't see much improvement because our kids are just born that way, slow.

Watford is the easiest guy to drive on, on the perimeter. He is a defensive liability.
