Typical

Just going out on a limb here but I'd be willing to bet neither one of you have ever listened to Rush's radio show for yourself but rather just regurgitate the opinion of others (be it friends or media personalities that have a lot more in common with Mr. Dakich than Rush).

Listening to Gino and Jack earlier on Sirius/XM 91, they basically said is was unfounded and no proof as of yet. They were pretty fair to LSU.

I heard that yesterday afternoon. That same guy went on a rant about Les several weeks ago about the Jeremy Hill situation and the whole "let the team decide whether to or not to kick him off the team" thing, which was badly and erroneously portrayed by most media.
The rant wasn't by Coach but by some dude named Dan Dockens (I hope I have his name right, forgive me if I don't) who is on there occasionally as a substitute host and evidently has his own show somewhere. He has a hard-on for Les and LSU and sounds like a totally biased dickhead on the readio.

Translation: I'm a talk show host. Nothing that I say needs to be true, I'm saying whatever it takes to get listeners. I'm basically a fricking clown without the paint, big red nose, and big shoes.

I am still

No lie. He's an internet troll on a radio show. His agenda couldn't be more obvious.

FWIW, I think Martin shouldn't have said anything. I get that he wants to defend Miles, but outside of an official statement from the school or Les himself, Martin shouldn't engage this idiot at all via twitter. Referencing him directly only increases the guy's profile and gets him more followers/listeners.

This radio guy coached with Kelvin Sampson and is friends with Urban Meyer. Tells you all you need to know about his "character."

Why does anyone give one rats arse about any of this? Todays 'news' cycle is the equivalent of a temper tantrum throwing toddler.

It will go away, and the reporters of the world will go find a shiny new toy to play with, and if they cant they will dig in the toybox and find a crusty old to play with...

If the initials NCAA and the word investigation is used, I will pay a smidge of attention. That goes for EVERY one of these pieces the folks around college football put out.

First you saw it with recruiting, every college dude became an insider, now it is with college sports reporting, everyone with a twitter, blog, or online column has got to put out some form of report every day......resulting in mountains of non stories.

Randy Moss is one that quickly comes to mind, but I get the point you are trying to make and agree

I don't think that happens. No way.

I'd love to hear SI explain how Les Miles is responsible for stuff that supposedly continued happening after he left but the current head coach and former offensive coord knew nothing about it.

This is a hit piece. Evans came down here looking for dirt with Mathieu, didnt find any and got exposed for dirty reporting, so he starting digging for a story. Couldn't find anything here, so he went further back and found 13 players willing to go along with it.
