I won’t get mad at Foster or saying that. What is he supposed to say?

But it is really a meaningless statement coming from a player on the current team.

Yep...nobody on this board making preemptive excuses for losses can be taken seriously. It’s an auto-red flag indicating an O fan or DP alter.

I like Foster Moreau as a player, but the only way he could possibly comment on Ensminger's play calling ability in games is if E was calling a LOT of the plays last year when Canada was supposed to be doing that...
I don't see how he would know much about others around the country in any event.

Esminger is one of the best play-callers I've seen - from his stint as interim OC.

My question with him is can he build an offense from the ground up?

I have no doubt about his play-calling. I actually thought he was brilliant at it.

That’s actually a great point.

Damn...then I feel bad that literally no program gave him a chance to be the best he could be for 20 years as he went from high school job to being our TE's coach.

"I've been excited with what Coach Ensminger has brought to the table and I'm eager to see what we can produce."

It's actually pretty easy to be positive and not wildly hyperbolic. Kid went to Jesuit, after all...

Wish he would've called some of those plays vs Alabama.

Well that's simply not possible. O said himself it's Matt's offense.

Then again he said "I'm the head coach, we do what I want to do."

But why would he want the TE coach calling plays when we already had an OC? Boggles the mind.

Guarantee you Coach O had his say in almost every play for this game.

The play calling was night and day from other games. It was reminiscent of Miles play-calling - Playing not to lose.

but because an average at best TE said so, it is so?

I swear, some of you people do not think before posting.
