The “bad” passing D is a product of just being on the field more than most defenses and most of that time the other team is playing catch up. They are 13th in the country in opponents completion % at about 53% but they are also 96th in the country in yards per completion at 13/yds per. Part of that problem is also the D line doesn’t get a lot of pressure on the QB.

OSU hasn't played an offense with a pulse.

LSU has had some breakdowns, but those teams were throwing because they had to to keep up.

Then why did they pass for almost the same amount on Georgia that they did LSU? Does Georgia’s defense suck too?

Meh, it took Aranda some time at the beginning of the season to see what worked best for the guys he had.

If you don't think our defense is improving over the course of this season, you haven't been watching.

Funny, I remember tOSU fans being super cocky in 2008, too. It'll be interesting to see what y'all do against Penn, Michigan, and Minnesota.

Well, your 2 safeties are average cover guys at best. Stevens is a good tackler. Delpit, hurt or not, can’t hardly get in the way of a ball carrier/pass catcher.

I honestly think Delpit’s hands have been used to tackle as many times as they have been used to intercept a pass.

Our best cover guy was beaten for 2 go route TDs and over 200 yards receiving by one guy, and our supposed weakest link at nickel was obviously missed when he left the game.

So, I honestly can’t defend our pass defense.

Never understood why people get so upset about fans viewing their own teams favorably. Everybody does it. Nothing he said was off base. He wasn’t trashing LSU.
