With House coming back next year, is it more important to change scheme or bring in better players? He proved he can make adjustments against A&M in the second half so thinking scheme is the answer.

No guarantee he's coming back next year, just no signs of him being fired or leaving as of right now.

I think its important to improve up front. In 2022 we had a decent defense mostly because we were good up front. We lose all those players and struggle on the LOS and we see the results.

I’m sure you’re correct. We didn’t have even decent D-line player until the second half at Mizzou. And wasn’t consistent enough afterwards. We have to have a full time coach there.

No. Lining up with 3 on the line and a 7 yard soft cushion defense on 3rd and 2 is a brilliant scheme. Worked like a charm all season.

This year was mainly scheme issue oriented. Game planning was horrific and made no adjustment. No spy vs. Alabama. People are afraid to talk about it but House got torched against Ole Miss.

A&M game still had many coaching issues on Defense but because a few second half adjustments the sentiment he can rectify the issuesand LSU to be a dominant defensive team is far fetched.

Did House initiate the 2d half change vs. 8&4 or did Kelly?
Reading between the lines, there were a lot of "we" in Kelly's comments after the game re spy & trail technique. There are a lot of people who believe that once you sell Plan A, it will be wrong on many levels to change to Plan B in mid-course. After two years, I believe House is one of those people.

The scheme needs to include Whit and Perk.

Your dedication to your schtick for going on 20 years now is laudable.

You believe he made those adjustments? If so, why then and not all the plethora of occasions?

Kelly will hear major political blowback if house returns in 2024 and has another bad year. It will be Kelly’s problem and it will be major.

Maybe now people will agree to talk about how House will scheme next year? We should see some solid improvement against Wisconsin.

Here we go with scheme again. We got to have better and more experienced players on defense to be able to run different schemes. If it was just schemes than Vanderbilt could run great schemes and beat us. Vanderbilt doesnt have the athletes so scheme doesnt work.

It was was Kelly & DIACO that made the adjustments at halftime of the A&M game.

Diaco installed a Cover 2 Trail in 10 minutes.

Pennywise had nothing do with it.

Try to keep up.....
