How the hell do you just go to work when your son is in critical condition? I would not eat or sleep til I knew the kid was ok and I would never leave his side.

I still can't figure why some stranger was watching his kid one state away. Why didn't the kid live with him? he is the father right.

The "secret" child was reportedly the result of a casual relationship between a Minnesota woman and Peterson, who just recently learned he was the boy's father.
Peterson left the Vikings on Thursday for "personal reasons," but was back with the team the next day and is expected to address the media in the upcoming hours.
Minnesota hosts the Carolina Panters this weekend at the Metrodome. Peterson's status for Sunday's game is unknown.

I get what you are saying but its tough to blanket judge someone for showing up at work for his team during his personal troubles. I get it but then you can't really judge him either way either.

Brett Favre's dad was already dead, so what was he going to do? This kid is still alive and was brutally attacked. If you don't see the difference then I don't know what to tell you.

sounds like kid might just be a vegetable on life support... he was found unresponsive. AP has possibly never met the child or very limited connection with him. Don't go overboard on the judging of AP.
