And it's a Rummel guy. Rummel didn't win state last year either, and they lost to Jesuit again today. Tough to be a Raider.

Rummel was the 13th seed full of Juniors and Sophomores, they weren’t expected to. However, they did beat the 5th nationally ranked team to get to the finals…

But when you brag about being nationally ranked and not make it to state, I find hilarious. .

Chalmette is also #8 in the power rankings. In years past, hasn't Chalmette made the playoffs only because of winning district because their power points were too low?

not me because im confident Rummel wont beat Catholic with Schmidt on the mound this year in a 1 game Semi if they face off again. I was just answering the other guy about the idiot in the room.

Yeah, hence why I complained about our schedule

I believe if we end up going on the road again for the playoffs, it will be because we didn’t call our game against Patrick Taylor a rainout last week… we beat them 18-1 but they’re going to hurt our power rating

I still think it’s skewed elsewhere. We don’t have a single B or C team in driving distance but districts 1, 2, and 3 have plenty. We probably should look at going to winning percentage like basketball does instead of just 1 point per opponent win, and look at going from 20 points for a win to 34

Yea with us we should keep moving up with the schedule we played as long as we win our district games we are supposed to win. Our worse loss was lakeshore but they have been on a roll since I just think they had a bad start with the new coach and are coming around now

We’re talking about our shitty schedule and lo and behold we add a game against 15 win Covenant Christian this week I guess with 17 wins at this point we can probably get anyone we want among good teams to play us

We have a tough road
Slidell, Covington, St. Paul’s , Ponchatoula, Holy Cross, Dunham, and possible Catholic make up game. Plus a district playoff tourney so we could get any of those in a second game

It’s something how PBR has us as top 10 in the state but Baseball in the Boot doesn’t even have us as top 10 in nonselect

Nah. OCS is a quality program. From what I was told WM was up 5-1 and went to some new guys on the bump. OCS hit the ball well and tied it up 7-7 bef

This is correct. West Monroe put in a freshman pitcher. He walked the first 3 batters. Then a different freshman gave up a lot of runs. OCS is too good to not take advantage of that and seize the momentum. Was a great game by OCS. The rematch is Tuesday at West Monroe. Should be another great one.
