It’d be a great pick had you not just paid a guy a ton of money that you may end up forfeiting next year’s 1 for…oh yeah he’s also old and still somehow kind of raw. Good luck guys

Should’ve drafted Jordan Travis in the 4th/5th instead. Jordan is better in crunch time than Penix. Jordan sitting behind Kirk would’ve been scary.

Not every young QB is a Mahomes. Smart system QB’s can play a long time in the NFL so Penix’s age doesn’t matter since he’s not a run first guy. Penix will just be getting started when a lot of these young athletic type QB’s are being thrown in the scrap heap by guys like Kiper. None of the top defensive guys are can’t miss. Turner isn’t that great and the Falcons were smart to pass on him. WR’s can be found in every round. I would have taken an OLinemen but I have no issue with Penix.

I'll be shocked if Penix ever throws 25 TD passes in a season. I was very, very low on him. Only the Falcons would do something this stupid.
