Gary needs to be a good father and know his son is a dipshit and not allow him around a place like that

If that has something to do with Gary Player's space at the Masters why is he still one of the honorary starters at the Masters? Face it, dude, Player is on the Mt. Rushmore of pro golf. And playing a round of golf at the Masters isn't a religious experience.

Is that not what he’s referring to when he says “he doesn’t feel welcome?” I haven’t followed it or honestly care to, because Gary Player is an old man who says a lot of things. Golf legend for sure, but his opinions are pretty meaningless to me

Seriously man, what's your point? What difference does it make what he says at age 87? Optics stinks when you are having to hear it from the guy you help make the face of pro golf. For the love of Golf.

And they keep picking this person to start the Master and he has to say he feels unwelcomed. That is a bad look. The only thing left to be curious about at this point is how many tone-deaf folks actually work at that place.

Apparently a lot to you since you’re on here carrying on about it

Then you struggle with context. And try to keep in mind the theme here is tee time and Gary Player.

What Player is upset about is that he is only an honorary member at ANGC and not a full member like Arnie was and Jack is. Because he isn't a full member, he can't bring guests to play the course without a full member present in the group. He wants full membership privileges (or at least the ability to bring guests) given to all Masters champions. I seriously doubt that happens.

I thought former winners had no issues finding a member to get them on course

Who do you have on there?

Its Tiger and Jack

Other 2 are debatable

Could be Hogan, Player, Bobby Jones, Arnie, Hagen

Yeah, Tiger's comments on his leg this morning don't sound good long term. Says its more sore than last year. He clearly knows he doesn't have many more in him.

Was there today and saw Tiger multiple times, a couple times just a couple feet away. He was really laboring while walking and looked uncomfortable. Take it with a grain of salt, because I’m no insider, but he looked rough and only played the front 9.

That said, after that, he was back out on the range doing work.

It will only get worse with the rain. He will be in even more pain walking on the wet hilly course…. I hope he makes the cut.

Meh. He’s never really had a dominant stretch of golf.
