Was so happy when auburn ended their playoff hopes. LSU was the better team but i didnt wanna test it again

Well, as we learned this season, according to the CFP Selection Committee, if you don’t have your starting quarterback, you don’t deserve to be there regardless of record.

Better question is WTF happened to 2018 bama in the title game against Clemson.

I thought that was saban's best team. They absolutely demolished everyone up until that game.

2010 Bama. They should never have lost 3 games

They went 11-2. Losing to the national champs and their rival. There was nothing wrong with them. They were a great team.

Only time in the playoff era that I think 4 truly elite teams existed

LSU
Ohio State
Clemson
Bama (with Tua)

LSU fricked them in the arse

Then Tua fake injured pirate walked off the field to milk it

Clemson was absolutely loaded so them beating Bama in a close one like the 2016/17 game wouldn’t have been a shock. But to absolutely boat race them, that was a stunner.

Dabo’s best team at Clemson, the DL talent him and Venables had stockpiled was crazy.

Yep, but I also think Tua wasn't the same by the end of the year. If you recall that year, Bama looked unbeatable for the first half of the year. Tua was the overwhelming favorite for the Heisman, but then injuries started creeping in.

you’re right from the LSU game on it seemed the offense was in a funk from the earlier part of the year when they were averaging 50-60 points a game. I mean they played pretty bad against UGA in the sec championship until hurts bailed them out.

Yes the bigger mystery is what was wrong with the 2010 Alabama team? Questions I find fascinating on an opposing fans website but then again our go to is Tidefans lol.

Hangover from the previous NC season, entitlement, injuries, played good teams who wanted it more.

With Mac? Probably. But Mac was looking the 2020 Mac by the bowl game against Michigan. Its perfectly reasonable to think that no one was beating LSU in the playoffs though.

Also, you probably don’t understand the Iron Bowl if you think either Alabama or Auburn would ever be unmotivated and unprepared for that game.

How many players who started for Alabama in the 2019 Iron Bowl were even from Alabama?

The players want to win every game, but I doubt a RB who was raised in California and went to Bama to play for Saban and spring into the NFL gets especially hyped over Auburn.

Tua didn't play against Auburn and they would have easily won with him. They dominated most other opponents and lost to the best LSU team ever. Not a terrible year.
