LSU winning the championship is the best for college football first and foremost…
Of the teams currently in the playoffs Cincinnati from a underdog point of view… Michigan from a historical point of view

I'd like to see the Bearcats win simply because I don't want Bama, UGA or Mich to win.

He's not an arse of a person like Baker Mayfield is. I don't see why you'd care if Cincy won a SB with Burrow unless you're a fan of a rival team like Baltimore.

It would be cool if they win. It would make for some entertaining football, I won't lie.
But I feel like it would be a HUGE outlier. It will make fans clamor for more G5 teams to be in the playoffs, when 90% of the time they will just get blown out.

I’m just sick of the committee basing their rankings on recruiting which mean absolutely nothing until results are produced so let’s just use results instead and not a predetermined notion of who is good.

Cincy recruits worse than UW per the rankings.
One reason I hope they get blown out. Otherwise the "everything is fine" Chryst apologists will be pointing and saying "See! Stars don't matter! We don't need to improve recruiting!"

Completely understand that, so are you rooting for the Tide for at least one game. Personally I’ve been able to help a couple Badger fans to see the error in their way of “Rose bowl or bust” ways in order to demand a little more from their school.

They need to upgrade it to playoffs or bust as the RB doesn't automatically go to the B1G champ anymore anyway.
And RB should mean winning the B1G to them. Which means the playoffs.
The everything is fine crowd is so maddening. Had one guy say it's the "new fans" that are a problem as they expect more. I then pointed out to him I used to watch Randy Wright and Al Toon from Section E about 30 rows up at the Camp.

Florida was the last first-time winner of a major college football national championship and that was all the way back in 1996. 25 years ago. I feel like some new blood winning it all would silence some of the critics of the FBS who claim it's nothing but a "blue blood" sport.
In other words, the game will be rigged!

But not best for the world. Within weeks of LSU winning the national championship the entire world went to shite. Also, going back to LSU's previous title run in 2007 - Britney Spears went insane that very same year. Obviously there's a pattern here and I'm certain it involves voodoo magic.
