Eh. The SNL people can’t actually do their jobs and y more and not break character. It’s ruined a lot of skits over the years, yet people seem to act like it is some special skill they have.

Sucking at your job is now somehow lauded.

I think it's hilarious when it's subtle/contained. The actress' break in this one kinda wrecked a really funny skit though.

This seems to be the viral sketch going around, but it's mid.

Shane Gillis limu emu skit and Adam Driver "beep beep" skit are much better snl recent offerings.

This skit was ruined by the female cast member breaking character. It could have been an all time great but it falls flat due to her lack of professionalism. Wiig, Poehler, Fey. Oteri, Shannon, McKinnon would have all handled it without breaking.

Just ashamed such a great skit was ruined by people not doing their jobs.

Premise was great, but would have been much better without everyone but Keenan breaking character. You couldn’t even hear the Beavis and Butthead laugh toward the end.

That's a little different IMO. Everyone knew Farley and Spade were buddies, and you could tell that Farley was doing his best to try and get Spade to break.

The same goes for Stefan on weekend update. The whole premise is that he's never seen the jokes before reading the cue cards, and the writers are trying to get him to break.

For this one, I'm not sure if Heidi Gardner knew what they looked like beforehand or not. Trying to get her to break (if that was what happened), does not work so well with this sketch. It would have been better if Gosling didn't break at all though, and kept a straight face, like Keenan.

I don't mind certain sketches when they break like the Disney World one, but this Beavis and Butt-Heard one wasn't nearly as funny as they made it appear. It was still cool though. I think she had no idea what to expect when she looked back. I assume they didn't show her what they would look like.

Meh, just like most of their skits currently. I Think You Should Leave >>>>SNL for sketch comedy.

I loved that Gosling revisited the Papyrus-verse.

Papyrus 2

Harvey Korman started doing it on the Carol Burnette Show and it got a lot of laughs. Since then, it's become a thing on comedy shows. Jimmy Fallon did it pretty much every sketch. It's just a way of turning lame sketches into mildly funny ones.

it's been awhile since I've seen a skit where the comedians can't get through without crying laughing

Gosling was a solid host as well, that always helps

anyone who hates on this sketch just doesn't enjoy sketch comedy.

the breaking made this an all timer modern day sketch.

It appears the bar to be an "all time great" has become incredibly low.

Funny? Sure. All time great? Not even close.

That being said, pretty funny sketch
