The show is extremely thought provoking. Just not a lot of good TV out there that fires up the brain like this one. Excited for next season. They have so much to work with for the story. Kudos to the creator of this.

I kind of love that this show isn't so well-known on and on Apple TV+ because if it were on HBO it would become such a phenomenon that every douche you know would claim to be a fan and it would get hyped up so much it would lose a lot of its power. Just my opinion.

this alternative version of you that’s basically forced into servitude with no outside life and no joys to go home to, it’s definitely pretty trippy.

It reminds me of that Black Mirror episode (White Christmas maybe) where they create a digital copy of yourself to serve as an assistant and it ends up with you being a slave to yourself.

This show is great! Am I crazy or when Mark S sister figures out her daughter is missing and was Mrs. Selvig/or Cobel that she said “my daughter in law is missing”?

I do not remember this, but I haven't rewatched the season yet (which I definitely will). What an awesome show, I am sick that I have to wait at least a year and probably longer for the next season

What if you could get the Severance procedure and let your innie run your life until the next season is ready?

3 months late to the party. But better late than never. Thanks to those on here who pushed this one. Hopefully they get this next season out sooner than later.

I love the moral conundrum of this show. What makes me pause at the idea of undergoing this procedure is you are basically only living a 3rd of your life. Innie 8 hours, outie 8 hours, then sleep (not counting weekends). The innie persona knowing they are just a drone doing the schlock the outie doesn’t want to deal with has to be maddening. Imagine going to work and only being able to talk about work UGH. You can’t discuss shows, movies, or restaurants because you have know memories of those experiences. It has to be brutal.

What ever happened to the visions Iving was having of the green sludge coming down?

The sludge was the oil paint Irving’s outie was using for his paintings. I think it was slipping into his innie’s subconscious due to lack of sleep.

I never saw the problem here, as those were just imitation computer programs. The real person got a great personalized assistant.

We watched the series in less than a week.

Here's my take: How fricked up does your life have to be that you want less of it? We know Mark is grieving and Helly is doing it for a stupid corporate PR thing. But what's Irving and Dylan's deal? Dylan has children that he is willing to not think about for 8 hours a day.

I bet they get fricking paid, which is the other crazy thing, salaries could vary wildly between the same tier employee and no one would fricking know.
