Legit question about Fuaga

Do we know or not whether or not Ram plays this year? If he does where does Fuaga play? One of the guard spots? Surely we get him on the field somewhere right?

I think Ram is done and Fuaga starts at RT.
If Ram comes back, Fuaga, Penning, Young and Saldivari compete for playing time on the left side.

Ok, I knew Rams time was short, but thought he might have a a year or two left. So this was an immediate need then. We had multiple needs but this guy looks like a 12-13 year high level starter at a huge position of need

I think this might signal Ram is done.
But if not Fuaga is pretty athletic and should be able to move inside to guard no problem if needed for a season.
What the hell are the Saints going to do at LT. Resign Peat because he was ok LT back half of the season? Or let him go and pin your hopes on Penning? That would be very risky.

They are going to have to resign Peat it seems. I’m more than ok with this. There’s no way we can break in a new LT from free agency.

Peat played well at LT last season. Keep him there and move Penning to LG.

I agree he played good at LT when we needed him, but let's not forget Project Peat and his injury history.
Hopefully if we resign him at a pay cut. He was a top 5 salary cap player for several years when he was injured a lot.
I like Peat at LT if he is at a lower cap hit.

Ram doesn’t take the type of pay cut he took if he planned to play. His career is unfortunately over.
