No. You need both. We’re lacking in both currently.

Yeah Murphy is special on the interior. Big guys like him shouldn’t be able to move and bend like that.

My bold prediction is Murphy will be a bust. 8 sacks in college career is meh. He did nothing to disrupt Penix and Washington. Just a total non factor.

Elite DTs show up in college. I think Murphy gets over hyped because of some of the goal line offensive plays and other things and believe he’ll be just OK as an NFL DT.

Again, it's not impossible, but highly unlikely. I play the odds.

Make it make sense. Do you play the odds or you just like to gamble on guys you personally like?? Again do you not see the hypocrisy in your statements??

This draft is way to damn long. 3+ hours for 32 picks.

If he had the prototypical frame I'd be all about it, but that also means that we probably would have never gotten the chance to draft him because then he would have been a top four or five pick way above Alt

He’s still athletic as frick. Your freak athlete OL typically play at OT, not interior where their athleticism is mostly wasted.

He’s 6’5” and 325.

Not a “Pro typical frame”

What are you even talking about

He’s perfectly fine for a RT.

I miss the old format with 3 rounds on Saturday and 4 rounds on Sunday. Non-stop all-day marathon draft watching. It was great!

But Goodell and money ruined the fan experience. Like they often do.

WRs are flying off the board. We still might be able to get TVondre Sweat tomorrow. Not as high of an upside as Murphy but could still be a force next to Bresee

Yeah it seems like every year there’s a run on WR’s at the end of the 1st and early 2nd.

Might not be a bad thing. I don’t really love a lot of the WRs left outside of Ladd. Would rather just shore up the DL and take Sweat or maybe Fiske
