Bruh. This isn't how interest works.
50000*(1+0.05)^4 is what you were looking for.
Doesn't change your overall point, but I had to point that out

Yeah. I edited to make that point and try to clarify that I was using an extremely simplified interest model to try to keep the math simpler and all of the numbers nice and round.

Yeah man, but if you make real money spending >5% of your monthly take home on a car isn’t that big of a deal.

I saw a brand new F-250 4 door long bed 4x4 in the parking lot at Kroger. I don't even want to know the fricking sticker on that thing. It was monstrous.

$75k truck.....my trade and discounts knocked about $32k off the price.

I'm happy, my credit union is happy with their 1.5%, we all happy....

If I am going to pay for 84 months, it will not be for an F150. I would consider it for a Tundra, though. You have to look at which will still have useful life, after the note is paid off.

have about 12 months left to pay off my f-250 then I’m getting a 911. Keeping my truck so no down payment. 911 note will likely be around 1,500

Part of being an a-hole on the OT is putting down oilfield and plant workers. There are plenty of assholes here...try to be different and original.
