WTF is govt. telling a private business that people cannot smoke in their business? If customers don't like it, don't go.

Did you just make that up? They are suing the city for a revenue loss of an estimated 70 million due to the smoking ban

Have no idea how that could be possible. This would be like telling me the bar increased its revenue by getting rid of liquor and only selling beer

Anyone know if they stipulated what constitutes an " enclosed space? I know there was an issue with the proposed bill defining an enclosed space as bounded by 2 walls. That would mean that even if bars have an enclosed patio with a sliding curtain wall/ garage doors wall you still can't smoke there

Have you ever been in a casino. I would wager that almost 40% of the people gambling in a casino smoke

Drinking kills people and is the cause of drunk driving. We need to make sure that no businesses are allowed to sell it. frick their profits.

The casinos will not do away with smoking easily.

Wouldn't be surprised if they just moved across the river and take their money with them

I'm entitled to go anywhere I want and those places I do go to are obligated to conform to my needs and demands. If they don't I can get the government to force them to do it because this is America and freedom only applies to me.

We just need tougher legislation. These murderers have operated with impunity for far too long. I'm getting Chauna on the horn posthaste.

What do you mean? It will be a law once whatever date passes. They don't have a choice, it's not like laburge can just tell the city to frick off.

That's why I said Laburge. I'm not up to speed on how the boats have to follow a smoking ban. If they don't have enforce it, why would they move to the other side?
