I posted about this on the poli board. Why is the property considered un-used? This isn't a new or uncommon regulation (Even here)

I’m not sincerely doubting there’s an ulterior motive but it read more to me like they’re trying to patch up blight. Being in Shreveport I can sincerely relate to this issue as we have tons of people with inherited properties who don’t keep them up and they attract tons of crime. I’m not familiar with English property standards but the picture in the article looks 100x better than the shitholes in my town that the gubmint never bats an eye at. Again, not saying there isn’t some seedy business going on her but naturally Stout has made his own headline to fit his alarmist attitude.

The same white people didn’t learn from history and simply let people from 3rd world countries in, conquest religion is in full effect. We have an ocean in between us and still get our fair share coming across the southern border. These people laugh in the face of the stupid white guilt fools, yet the white guilt can’t see what’s actually happening.

As an OT moderate I agree with this. I'm not a white liberal, I'm a moderate but I agree with all white liberal agendas.

They've been brainwashed by media to hate themselves and feel an obligation to make themselves second class citizens.

And every person they could vote for is completely owned by globalists.

haha for real. I dont understand how so many people on this site get excited to upvote bullshite and then criticize others for not going along with it.

The letter doesn't say what the OP title said it did at all.

It is talking about vacant/empty properties, there's no mention at all of homes being too big for their owners.

It must be tough to go through life without being able to read or comprehend what he reads.

This- The article says that the letter was a mistake, and that the council issued an apology. There could be ulterior motives, but I kinda doubt it.

Americans sat on their hands and watched people be arrested for going to church, walking in the beach, and not wearing face diapers.

I wonder how many in this thread actually read the article.

Anyway, I doubt it too. This English community has laws on the books that attempt to hold property owners accountable for their blighted real estate and as a last resort, pull out the big guns and threaten seizure. There are cities all over the United States that do the same and rightly so.

Now the bullshite about letting illegals live in these properties once seized, well that's a different matter. But what they do with seized property, whether auction it off, like here in the states or manage it for immigrants is up to them.

Yeah, just reading the letter made it seem like it was targeted at long vacant or blighted properties - not houses they deemed too big for people.

But…. On the flip side…

I suppose a controlling entity with ulterior motives could stretch the definition of blight in an effort to force a sale of some kind. Similar to the way local governments have blurred the definition of imminent domain in an order to gain control of a property.

However, I didn’t see anything in the letter or article that alluded to such shenanigans.
