Looks like he killed some black guy. It’s only legal for black people to do that

I've been watching from a distance. I don't know Garrett or any unpublished details but the case is intriguing. This dude fricked up and he's about to pay for it.

Most of us have been blackout drunk at some point. Imagine waking up to realize you violently killed a elderly black man in the city of New Orleans in this political climate. Not only is he going to jail, those frickers are going to be waiting for him. His life is about to be a living hell. Tragic, but intriguing.

He should learn how to hold his liquor better

I think he gets 25 years or so. I think the max is 40.

Being blackout drunk doesn't make a person violent.

New Orleans is going to send a strong message tomorrow that they will not stand for white people killing people in their city.

He’s fricked. Orleans Parish will show no mercy on the White, Perlis shirt wearing, real estate agent who beat to death a homeless black man. Jason Williams personally tried the case.

I think he gets 35 years out of a possible 40. It will be interesting to see what the sentencing guidelines will include and will parole be on the table.

Makes it a hell of lot more likely for you to punch someone in the face. Not making excuses for the guy. He deserves what's coming to him it seems.

He should identify as black and be out on the streets in a week.

Just adopt the Shaun King look

Yes, because prisons aren't full of black killers.

I get very drunk on a regular basis and have yet to kill an elderly man with my bare hands. Might just be me, though.

I’m not defending him or anything he did. I’m just stating that his life is about to be hell and he knows it. Imagine the knotted stomachs at his parents house tonight.

If there’s ever a case where it would have been smart to run off to Mexico. Ol boy should have known he was screwed.

I think you are confusing black out with pass out drunk. Some people are extremely violent black out drunk. It doesn’t excuse your actions because you chose to enter into that state of mind.

How much did he or his family have to liquidate for bail?

Ankle monitor and I'm pretty sure his parents or grandparents put up their home. I'd rather off myself than run in that situation.
