True. They made a great team. However, some will give him the "ace" status and some will not. I am with the latter on that, but that in no way reflects how I think that he is above and beyond.

I can't find any. Some places do and some only list the pilots. Americanfighteraces.org only list Ritchie of the USAF.

Ahh, OK, then. I was under the impression he was credited for 6, as a back-seater.

I know that he has 6 accredited to him, or assists. But I am not sure on if the USAF officially lists him as an ace. Personally, I think that pilots should get that.

In a single-seater, I totally agree, but the F-4 required such teamwork, especially with the radar-guided missiles needing a constant lock.

True. The backseater kept the lock but the pilot had to keep it within the parameters.

I know more about that timeframe than I do about any of these pilots and the aircraft they fly but yall have been great teachers

try this one you may know it what is the name of the tactic being used here. it started in the ancient world and was heavily used by Alexander and continues to this day.
