We are a very physically and mentally sick nation dependent upon big pharma. That being said technology and innovation is rendering ground troops almost obsolete for first world countries. You can just drone someone to death now and not waste a single troop, brigade, battalion etc.

We won nothing. At best it was a stalemate.
At worst, without our air superiority, we would’ve come out much worse casualty wise and would’ve suffered a worse defeat than we did.

Considering thousands cross daily it wouldn't take much to have it coordinated and declare a couple of towns as their own before anyone paid attention.
