Whatever you do, you should make sure your daughter is on board with it.

Oh. My dad passed away when I was 25 and my mom (his ex wife) was the emergency contact

My mom said she was cremating him and putting him in the family tomb - if we wanted anything else we had to pay

One of my uncles was the epitome of “not want to bother you.” Pine box, no embalming and instructions for no service and no gravesite service. His sisters followed his instructions but his ex pastor in hicks found out he was being buried he insisted on speaking. The 3 sisters each told him to keep it short. He spoke about 3 minutes and asked us nephews “please, don’t tell anyone I did that”. (We weren’t supposed to be there , but did anyway). He helped a lot of men around that area get in the oil business and he would have had a big funeral if the family weren’t weird. And, since, no embalming, he had to be buried in 36? Hours.
Point being. Pine box, no embalming, no service. Cheap

Free or nearly free option:

Donate the body to science. They'll use the organs they can and then use the rest as a cadaver to teach medical students. Then they'll cremate everything and send you the ashes.

Depends on if y’all want a viewing. A good funeral home will wash away the lifetime hospital memories looking ill with the deceased looking like she is taking a nap. That is worth it IMHO.

Cheap is a cremation first with a small service with the urn and a few flowers for friends and family to stop by.

Almost standard these days is a wake with the deceased on display from 5 or 6 pm until 8. A 10 am service the next morning with cremation to immediately follow.

Interment at a later date with family only.

You sound like a wonderful person. This is very admirable that you’re asking this.

Honestly anything over a couple thousand and I will have that conversation with my daughter. She has like $50k in the bank which is a lot for a 19 year old.
