Did you know you can just order QP patties with salt and pepper for between $1.25 and $2 each? It's served in a box or in a breakfast tray.
Might do that with some ketchup next time.
I mean the shite tastes great. But obviously some bad stuff in it.

" If I want a good burger, I'm going to make it myself or go to Five Guys."
Always thought Five Guys burgers were overrated. And they have the worst fries of any burger joint. Good shakes tho.

I haven't eaten a burger from McDonald's in ages but I used to get their fish sandwiches to help restore my lost brain cells after a night of partying.

wtf are they putting in that food?
I heard that if you don't eat McDonald's regularly, you become a giant pussy.

I did not eat McD's for probably 20 years other than the occasional breakfast because there were always better options.
Since I moved to bumfrick there are limited options, Wendy's is dog shite these days, Arbys is Arbys, DQ and Sonic are trashy af, I have found myself going to McD's again. With the app you can get 20% off your order so the price is fairly reasonable.
I found they use real beef in their QPC and Big Mac burgers. A double QPC with bacon is pretty legit. And they have the best fries in the industry.
They currently are running a "Cajun Chicken Bacon Sandwich" special which ain't bad either. It isn't really cajun, and probably not really chicken or bacon, but it tastes pretty good if you find yourself at a McD's.

Didn’t they do this in the early 2000s?
Found it

The Big N' Tasty was introduced in 1997 and was originally tested in the California market, while the Big Xtra was test marketed in the Northeastern United States as the MBX;[11][12][13] during the simultaneous testing phase, either one could be sold depending upon the test market.[14] The Big N' Tasty was phased in nationally in 2000, displacing the Big Xtra in the United States

Well the regular hamburger they sell today is about the size of a biscuit.
They have absolutely shrunk the patty size down over the years.
Maybe they will go back up to what the patty size was 10 years ago.

You spelled What-A-Burger wrong.

In the New Orleans market it was the, Big N' Tasty. They had a special heart shaped meat that you seasoned before cooking. It also had its own bun. It was a replacement for the other disaster of a burger the Arch Deluxe which had its own special bun that had a butter split on the top and its own special dijon sauce.
I worked at a McDonalds between 1997 and 2003.
The best sandwich I remember McDonalds having was the Cajun McChicken. It had a darker breading and I think used dark meat instead of white meat.
I used to experiment in the back making a Big Mac with the chicken patties instead of the meat. Yes I am fatty for doing something like that.
I think the meat has changed to a more fatty content. The more fat content in the burger makes it juicier, but when you have 10:1 patties too much fat makes the burger disappear. I think they cheapened out to fat content as high as 73/27% which is your typical fatty ground meat at Rouses. Back then they may have used a 90/10 or 80/20 meat to fat content.

I am not the type of person to say this. I love Taco Bell and Canes and other fast food.
But I agree. I feel like absolute shite after eating McDonalds. Breakfast not as much, but if I eat their lunch/dinner food, my whole body feels like shite. Like the very early signs of the flu when you can kind of feel like something is off before the real symptoms start. It is bizarre.
