, except those stubborn tenths. Figuring out a fraction with 10 is significantly easier, especially when the metric system has a name for those 10x measurements. You rarely need fractions in the metric system.

frick the metric system. I'm a carpenter and measure down to 1/32 of and inch and it works just fine. Go to home depot and find a metric tape measure, there is a reason we don't use it and never will. And frick kilometers on my speedometer, this country was built on inches and miles.

It truly is, even people in NASA use it. People in the medical field use it as well. Actually saw some redneck losing mind over the fact that this nurse in the ER was using the Metric system. Dude was so lost

frick I get lost in both sometimes... I do alot of intenrational work and I deal with Canadians on a daily bases... I'm always talking in Miles and Dollars and then are thinking in Kilometers and CAN Currency
