JULES You know what they call a Quarter Pounder with Cheese in France?

BRETT No.

JULES Tell 'em, Vincent.

VINCENT Royale with Cheese.

JULES Royale with Cheese, you know why they call it that?

BRETT Because of the metric system?

JULES Check out the big brain on Brett. You'a smart motherfricker, that's right. The metric system.

I've done a few landscape architecture design projects using metric and its a giant PITA. Part of my scope was doing the topographic grading for the site including plazas and sidewalks. This involves calculating minimum and maximum slopes for drainage, ADA and where retaining walls need to go. Doing this in imperial units is second nature but in metric I had smoke coming out of my ears.

me too

we buy things by the ton and it is much easier to deal with KGs and metric tonnes than pounds and US tons.

I find myself using metric more and more. I have two sets of wrenches and find I am using the metric set more and more working around the yard and house.

I ran a statistical analysis

muah, why did you even think this necessary? Just the concept itself informs you that it´s going to be more precise.
