yes, it is has 4WD capability

But does it function?

I loved those and owned several models of that truck and even one 2000 escalade ( which was pretty much that with 4 doors...)

I'd prob go $3600.

You have to think about the inferior. Probably working on the front end. Fixing the 4wd. Parts are pretty cheap. Calipers are cheap as is the front end kits minus the 4wd shite. Enjoy it. Don't overpay.

If you're absolutely certain the engine and transmission were rebuilt correctly, then $4,500 is the absolute max I would go. He's going to say some shite like, "Hell, I've got $5,500 just in engine, transmission, tires and rims" and you respond, "I don't care how much you spent, I'm telling you how much it's worth to me."

I'd start at $3,850.

Seriously, if you are not trolling, pass on this purchase with the haste.

I mean unless it is for the swamp, or hunting and basic rally style driving but never for over 2500.

Pretty much what ace said...

If you want to spend 10k then you should buy k5 blazer or something of the sorts. Plenty out there for around 10k

All of this.

You don't GAS what he "put into it" ... that's his own fault. You have no guarantee of the rebuild or how well it was done. You're only paying for the clean exterior and new tires...the rest has little value IMO

If it has a new crate motor and a new transmission i could see it going close to $10k but it would have to be very clean mechanically and would only sell that high to a cash buyer that really wants it. Blue book is going to be much lower than what that truck actually sells for IMO. I wanted one like that so bad back in high school (late 90's) Would have wanted a 6" skyjacker lift with 35's though...

If it has a Trump bumper sticker that will add $500-750.00 value to it.
