get that Blacks make a higher percentage of Southern states. But it's nowhere near 80%. Highest estimate by census is upper 30 to 40% in states like Louisiana.

He's saying whites tend to make up 80-90% of the populations of northern and Midwest States tend

Bye, why are there no black people in Omaha fast food? Are you saying what’re people are so racist that they won’t hire them? Or are Oklahoma blacks so outstanding they don’t need fast food?
What if I told you that Omaha isn't in Oklahoma?

Here's the numbers you crave: 25% of my students failed high school civics (and that's with me being generous). If I don't boost or help anyone, it would have been 46%.

Do you realize the level of ignorance and/or apathy required to fail this class in a south Louisiana public high school?

Oh, and I'm not at an "F" or "D" rated school.

Super. But no one was discussing that.

And I realize what the stereotype and reality is. But they don’t hate white peopme in the fast food.

According to Webster's reverse racism is a term used to describe prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism on the basis of race directed against a member of a dominant or privileged racial group.

People on the OT really want their arse kissed at fast food joints. You are paying 8 bucks. Just be happy they get the right order.

Burger King in Gonzales is the worst. Last week, I went through the Drive-Thru to get a whopper and the crew pulled 4 cars over into the parking spaces to wait for their orders. After about 15 minutes, I gave up and drive off without my food. Shame, people don’t want to take pride in their service.

I've lived in 9 other states before eventually settling in Louisiana 12 years ago. I thank Louisiana fast food workers for getting me out of a fast food habit I had - it just wasn't worth it to somehow get your food just as fast at a busy Parrains as I would at an empty Burger King.

It made me miss the immigrants (of various levels of legal status) that are doing this job on broken English, but are busting their arse elsewhere in the country to get me an order of food that is warm, timely, and accurate (pending I order off the menu). It's for this reason it can't be the education system. However bad we think the education system is in the urban southern US, do you think the education system in drug-lord run rural Mexico is any better? Also, for some reason the English isn't even better on the home-grown fast food workers.

Chick-Fil-A and Raising Canes, since they both originated in the South, I think are able to buck the trend because they knew what their labor pool was going to be when they started so they built employment practices around it.

When we lived in Texas, one of the first things I noticed were how many of the fast food places were just run better. I rarely, if every, was told to "pull around and wait", the orders were never wrong, etc.

The lines in Walmart and grocery stores weren't as wrong.

The lawn care workers always showed up the day they said they would and never gave us any issues.

It took me a minute to realize, all the fast food workers, all the checkout cashiers, all the lawn care workers - they were all Hispanic. Mexican, mostly.

Say what you will about our country's broken immigration policies and the fact that a few criminals sneak over because of it, but by and large, these people WORK. Probably because they realize if they don't work, they don't get paid, they don't get paid, they don't eat.

At many places in LA, if you want to know how the restaurant will be run, just ask to speak to the manager. You will immediately know. Places like Cane's, CFA, and even some Wendy's and McDonalds, have great managers. Some of the Wendy's, McDonalds, all of the Burger Kings, etc, have managers that don't appear to have graduated 8th grade.
