I am 100% for giving them every single penny they deserve. Everything required for us to repair society in fact. I just don’t think they’re going to like that math.

This is going to backfire spectacularly, especially if there isn’t a financial component. When the average person hears reparations, they think money. If they ain’t getting a check, they ain’t gonna be happy

The could do that, but then they'd backfill the hole somewhere else with Federal dollars. We're all going to pay for it one way or another.
That's the game. Local/state decisions that are made by THEIR people and their people only (sanctuary cities, for example), and then they funnel Federal money for it, essentially making the rest of us, who had nothing to do with it, pay for it.
