The third day of the New York hush money trial against former President Donald Trump kicked off on Thursday with the dismissal of a juror who raised personal concerns about her ability to be fair and impartial.
The woman, who was listed as Juror #2 out of a group of seven chosen on Tuesday, said she had concerns about her ability to be fair and impartial, adding that she was afraid and intimidated by the press. She also noted her friends, family, and colleagues questioned her identity as a juror.

Is this live or are outlets just outside getting info from each possible juror?

GTFOH. They would only be a threat if she didn't vote to convict.

She must have had a lean to the right.

Don’t know.
Overheard it on Clay and Buck and found headlines.

It’s funny if they really believe they can find any in NY that will be fair and impartial. It’s laughable.

Clay and Buck said information is coming out about juror #4 being a political activist.

Some people do have a soul after all.

It's a show trial, as expected.
I wish Trump would have gotten his assets put of New York years ago. They've been after him for years.

Juror-02 was the oncology nurse.
I am impressed with the Judge on this point. Usually, a judge will NOT dismiss a juror, once she has been accepted. Props to him for being willing to listen to her,
The goal here SHOULD be an unbiased jury, and Juror-02 (in less than 12 hours) began to be affected by the pressures associated with serving on this jury ... from friends, family and colleagues. On self-examination, she decided that she would NOT be able to be objective in the face of all the outside pressure.
Good on her, for admitting it and for taking her concerns to the judge.
Good on the judge, for listening to her,

Changing the venue to upstate NY should have been the proper handling of this.
The only borough that MIGHT have given him a fair trial was probably Staten Island.

quote:Apparently, the prosecutor though on it overnight and decided that one of the jurors might be someone he prosecuted several years ago for tearing down political signs. They are looking into that, but that apparently is NOT Juror-04.

If that turns out to be true, that juror would have lied in voir dire, in an effort to get onto this jury (probably to Trump's detriment). Naughty, naughty. That is a crime, though I don't know whether it is a felony or misdemeanor in New York. Probably a misdemeanor.
Juror-04 apparently has different issues.

She ran to the first microphone she saw once she was released.

Down to only 5 jurors now, and each side has already used six of their ten peremptory challenges. Oops.

You’d have a hard time finding people throughout the country that are impartial. Trump sparks far too many emotions in people. That’s both the blessing and curse that comes with him.

I saw her questioned by a Fox reporter, and though she didn’t go into detail, she looked like a Left leaning type.

I thought you wanted impartial jurors?

But, as usual, the left is blaming Trump for her "safety"... LOL they will not stop at their lying...
