even if you think he was the batter had clearly backed out and given up on swinging meaning you can’t call catcher interference! It was a bullshite call but this ^^^ needs to stop being said. The rule is clear. Catcher touches home plate or is in front of home plate without the ball, it is a...
Let me guess.. you’re a proponent of the “eye test” bullshite? Teams like Wichita State, Pepperdine, Cal St Fullerton, Rice, Fresno State, and Coastal Carolina have all come from “shitty conferences” and won the College World Series. The landscape of college baseball is very different than c...

Totally agree with this. Move your feet and get in a better position to catch the ball. There’s a real good chance Morgan makes that play last year and it likely looks casual. (Not that it was a good throw) ...
Truth Serum. Given the Body of work to date does anyone honestly believe this team is ofby wfallstiger caliber to even be in the field of 64?
So you think this isn’t one of the top 40 teams in college baseball? The body of work of losing to teams that are better than them isn’t ter...

JJ over thought this in the last 4 innings. Watching these guys fall behind to batters consistently (relievers) and him leaving them in there for the inevitable to happen is frustrating. JJ literally trying to manifest a victory with his thoughts out there tonight. He should have had multiple pi...

I absolutely would love if Guidry had the bat to be an every day starter on the infield. As as infielder he has an elite arm and literally could play any infield position. If the staff had a reason to think he could hit .270 or higher, he’d be playing up the middle right now. To those saying he di...
Imo this isn’t shocking. The production lost offensively is huge! You lost big time production from 1B, 2B, RF, and CF. From those 4 positions you lost 55+ HR’s, and a cumulative batting average above .300. That is quite simply, a huge loss. Imo our pitching is fine, it will continue to improve ...

re: We lost too much hitting

Well it’s not all that shocking actually. The offensive production LSU lost from CF, RF, 1B, and 2B is very significant. We haven’t really improved at SS offensively either which isn’t helping. The 35+ HR’s we got from Dugas and Jobert along with their RBI’s are going to be tough to find. We d...
I’m thinking after Hurd you have Coleman, Johnson, Primeaux, Raleigh fingers, Moffet… and there’s some guys that could double up for a specific batter matchup. We should have plenty of pitching for tomorrow, it actually should be an advantage for us. ...

Couple of great defensive plays late in that game. Milam and White were big time with the plays they made. ...

hopefully we'll replace Hurd with a lefty that wants to work that side of the plate/batters box. ...

Guy seems to be smug person. I’ve only ever seen him umping LSU games but was wondering if he’s always this way or particularly difficult for LSU. I was thinking maybe he played at UL-L or something, but being from Alabama makes sense as well. ...

He’s often calling LSU games and probably gets a good bit of hate mail. Im curious if he played college baseball, does anyone know? ...

re: Will we get a chance to see Guidry at SS?
Word on the street is Guidry and CJJ got into a disagreement in the offseason about playing in the field/getting ABs and was put in the doghouse. He won't see the field or get an AB this year. CJJ wants him as a PO this year.
I can't imagine this is true... he spent the off season ...

re: Will we get a chance to see Guidry at SS?

He will not play SS if he bats that poorly. Between Milam and Kutcherak it just will not happen. Also if Guidry could hit .270 he’d be playing SS this weekend. (I really like Guidry in the middle infield but his bat is keeping him in the bullpen)...
wtf do you know about him?
slackster, you are asking the right question! The problem is I already answered it. Look, I’m not a guy that bashes players, (I was wrong about how much Jayden Daniel’s would improve, I admit it! Lol) Dude is Uber talented, I don’t think he’s all that r...
