Feels like the law should include some kind of buffer year(s) to cover this kind of situation. Personally I don’t get the value in a whole home generator. Get one big enough to power your fridge and a window unit so you can get by a few days. If I’m in a place where power is out for week + then I just assume not be there either.
The price to include the up keep just don’t seem worth it. ...

Basically if you want your kid to be an “older” senior do it before 6th grade. People love to say this is being done specifically for sports but in my experience is more so for maturity purposes in which athletic maturity is a component of that but not the only one.
