Good to know. I assume that by adding an extension instead it would add a little bit of weight.

I think for the "full" swings some added length would help. I wasn't sure if keeping the 1/4" drop between clubs made for better distance gapping than just making them all one length. ...

Wedge length

Does it make the most sense to add the same amount of length to wedges as irons? I have +1” on irons but stock wedges. Was wondering if adding length causes loss of control or any issues.
ETA - Did some more research and my PW is currently 36.75" with the +1" added. Stock wedges are 35", should ...

It really isn't as much of a surprise in my opinion. All of last season he was good in short outings but never was great when getting through the lineup for a second or third time.
The same has been the case this year, and his stat lines will look a lot worse because he was left in one inning too...

I don’t think that Jay or anyone in the staff for that matter is telling anyone to “only swing at a certain pitch” with two strikes. That’s on the players if they go down looking with RISP. You can see it on Jays face everytime, not much else he can do there.

After thinking about it more last night I can understand jays perspective a little more. With some momentum it would suck for the lead runner to be out at the plate. But probably just as much as the double play did.

The decision to not bunt in the 8th was questionable but we never should’ve been in that spot. We hit a batter while ahead in the count to set up the 2 run home run. I’m not sure how many times we hit/ walked a batter and they stole third base multiple times to take advantage, and that’s on pitching...
