I think it's completely reasonable to think this isn't nearly as big of a deal as this thread is making it out to be. It's possible Harris has been suspended based on some ground rules that are more strict for him than the other guys who don't have his track record.
The fact that it was on the field is probably good based on the history of LSU player transgressions which typically include much worse stuff off the field.
I guess Kelly will address it tomorrow.

It's called a track record or a verified history. I'd be willing to bet before we signed him there was a detailed expectation setting where we made clear what is and is not acceptable and allowable behavior which I'd imagine he had to agree to prior to signing. I don't know what has happened with him since he got here but if he isn't living up to what he agreed to up front it forces the staff to make a hard decision. It's a hard life lesson for the young man. We definitely need talent and depth in the defensive backfield so if he gets cut then you have to believe the coaches have no choice based on his actions.

My bet is that he failed a drug test and that was enough for CBK to cut ties. He's gone, and I aint mad.

He is only a teenager with what appears to be a lack of self control and anger issues which has manifested in High School and Texas A&M with various ramifications, and now at LSU. No suspension will fix this. Not at A&M, and not here. He needs effective counseling and a strong consistent in your face support system. The Honey Badger would be a good example. I hope the kid gets these things contained and doesn't end up squandering the talent he obviously has.

I’m just now turning on Jordy’s show. I imagine he won’t touch this subject because of Tack?
Ok he’s talking around it. Says he hasn’t heard he’s suspended and hasn’t been told that. Says the staff scared the hell out of him. Message was sent and hit home with Denver. Says he’s still on the team.
He missed the team picture because he was late to a team meal. BK doesn’t fool around with being late.

I'm really rooting for Denver, hopefully he doesn't strike out because I'm sure he's on his last straw with BK.

This is why "rumors" should be banned from the board. Its stupid to spread misinformation about players before things get announced. Its bad for the LSU program. So this was started by Jordy so that people will make sure to listen to his program?

The word “Misinformation” needs to be scrubbed from the dictionary. I never heard the phrase before 2016, and I never want to hear it again. It’s nonsense.
Someone using “misinformation” says “I’m too stupid to vet the information I see and put it in the proper context”.
Rumors have existed since the beginning of time. Take them with a grain of salt.
