Directing the defendant to stick to the questions being asked happens in every trial every day.

The judge clearly got agitated and threatened the defendant with consequences if he refuses to follow the judge’s orders. That also happens in every court.

That is what you draw from his comments? Yikes.

You think the claim is that he cheated taxes by overvaluing his property? How does that work?

No clue what the hell they are claiming at this point. Just that judge said that MAL is worth 18m, so thats what i used to make my bigger point of them looking to dissolve his company.

More than likely he'll be convicted of something, yes. I would say he's going to have a very hard time not being convicted of the classified documents charge.

And he won't do anything to help himself or his lawyers try to prevent it but instead will aggravate the situation as much as possible, which is the point of the OP.

And low IQs will cheer him for doing so.

Do you believe that all of these indictments are not political? Just justice being served and played out?

This is what I was thinking...it demonstrates a predicate for the judge to be biased in his decision, as opposed to an unbiased arbiter of the law.

And my understanding is Trump's attornies asked for a jury trial and were denied...put these 2 things together and you'd have to have an appeal?

Holy shite that judge is fricking retarded.

I think this whole trial is ridiculous, but I don't think the judge said anything wrong, depending on the situation.

He does not want to hear everything Trump has to say.

He wants to hear what he has to say directly as to the question asked.

Can't Trumps lawyers request a mistrial based on a number of things this sicko judge has done?.

The Judge would be the one to have to grant the Mistrial Motion based on his own conduct

“They’re talking about a case where you have no victims of fraud, disgorging him of a quarter of a billion dollars or more of profits and putting him out of business, under circumstances where there is not a single person or a single entity that actually got defrauded here,” McCarthy said.

Engoron already has found Trump liable for defrauding banks, ruling that he and his companies overvalued assets and his net worth as he sought financing. The bench trial is to determine remaining claims brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James as well as damages.

And just like that, a fair and impartial hearing is gone.

Why did you feel the need to change his quote and add in "everything"?

That's literally what the Judge said. OP posted this one the first page:

quote:

“No, I do not want to hear everything this witness has to say,” Engoron angrily replied.

I think this Judge is likely highly biased and probably a lib POS, but Trump's team fricked up badly by giving him this level of power. TRUMP has said this himself.

Hahaha… point taken

Have you heard that Mazars USA, the accounting firm, has already stated that they do not stand by the financial statements?

This happened in February 2022. They sent a letter to Trump Org to inform them and stated that any recipients of the statements of financial condition should not rely on them.

So we already know that there is an issue. Because this doesn’t happen very often. One of the primary reasons for this rare action to be taken would be if fraud is suspected.

I don’t think anyone alive is jealous of any lawyer who has to represent Trump in court

I can only imagine he’s completely impossible to prepare or reign in for testimony.

Are these the same documents that NARA, the DOJ, FBI, and WH colluded in writing on several occasions which documents to charge him with, then took his clearance (which has never been done to a president) THEN raided his place and charged him. Those documents???

I suffer ignorance with little patience.

All the while, Biden has reams of classified documents scattered in several unsecure locations from when he was Senator and VP with no ability to see or keep them outside of an approved secure location.

Since this is a NY trial (?), what court will handle the appeal?

If you're going to represent him, you just have to understand that Trump is going to be Trump.

Have him sign document after document that you recommended something and he understands your advice. Record your preparation and instruct him on what to do.

And then let Trump be Trump, and that is on him if it doesn't work out.
