Come on man you know that’s just Rivals bumping another guy up because he’s uncommitted and Bryce is boring content now.

You should know how most of these dumb recruiting sites do by now. That’s why something like this doesn’t bother me anymore because I know it’s coming.

Look for Harlem Berry and Moore to drop eventually as well if not already

My favorite part is you actually thinking these people from these recruiting sites have actually went out and scouted these kids. They are doing this for strictly drama and more money.

the idea here that they put him at #2 because he's committed to LSU? You guys can't possibly believe that the recruiting services are out to get LSU, can you?

Honestly it’s not crazy Julian Lewis is the real frickin deal

This is the truth. It's going to be interesting to watch play out. Underwood is prototypical in terms of size, arm strength and athleticism. Lewis is far beyond his years polished. Im good with Underwood but not unobjective.
Hurley isn't in the same class as either in terms of talent or polish. People need to give up that fight.

What was their bullshite reasoning about dropping Hurley when he reclassified? I guess it doesn’t apply to the 2026 kid huh

Who cares, if he would have committed to Bama he would still be ranked #1.

there's precisely zero chance that you have scouted both of these kids to the point of having an informed opinion as to who's the better prospect.

I had my AI do it.

This seems to happen every year. Some or all just hates when w get their top player. Its disrespect toward the school and players. So I have gotten used to it.

Rivals was actually the only sight that had underwood at #2 even before that other qb reclassified.

Rivals is what’s dragging the LSU 2024 composite down. LSU has a top 5 recruiting class in both 247 and On3’s individual rankings.

I think he’ll end up being bigger than listed. I seen him grow drastically since the start of this past season. He’s probably around 6’1 maybe 6’2 now. He weighs around 185-190. The Young comparison makes a lot of sense at first glance. He reminds me a lot of a few guys. There’s some clear Trevor Lawrence influences there which makes sense because they’re trained by the same guy. I also think he has some elements of what Mahomes does though it’s hard to compare that because Mahomes is such a massive human being and he can impose his style on a game. Lewis has a lot of the same free flowing style but I think mentally is where he rises above other prospects. That part to me is where I think he’s got some Peyton Manning to him as well. I don’t know if that answers your questions I guess the short answer is that this young man has been molded to be a bit of all these guys. I don’t know that we’ve seen a young QB like this.

Imagine saying this with a straight face. This is what Underwood is going up against perceptionally in his race with Lewis.
I'm a fan of Lewis but this is ridiculous. The Young referenced is Bryce

I’ve seen the kid play. He is good. He’s small like young and accurate. Physically, he is not a gifted freak like Laurence. His game resembles Bryce young. Underwood’s game resembles JD5, Vince young, Lamar Jackson etc. I think it’s splitting hairs on what type you like. I think underwood is able to affect the game in multiple different ways.
