In today's woke world, this attack piece has to involve a lot of the Griner story. Back when all that shite happened, it was a different world & the anti gay aspect of it, back then, was never really played up in the media. The Griner story now has a new, timely aspect to it...remember the flood of negative hit pieces on CKM only a few mths ago? Poole may also be involved. Not sure about the portal window but is it just a coincidence that she entered the portal just last week? Wonder if those two players' moms who got into an internet spat over Reese's & Poole's issues back in the pre season were sources? There is absolutely nothing in CKM's DNA that would present her as being scared, of anything.

Seems to me that her doing that was protecting them.
ETA: and if she hated gays, she wouldn’t have recruited them in the first place.

We act like this is something new. The media has been after Kim from day one. We've never given a shite. The people that matter aren't going to care. There will likely be people that come to defend her then it'll be another us vs. The world type deal. I just hope the team uses it as fuel instead of a deterrent. Some writer from WaPo is not going to sway my views of anyone on anything. To me, it's a trash rag. That's all it will ever be.

I think this is already known. But I mean, Baylor is private Christian university. I doubt Kim asked them to not come out for their own sake.

Mulkey is my coach. Eff the media. Eff the haters. She’s not racist. She’s a damn coach. Every coach has had to come down hard on players. She is no different. Interview Bobby knight, coach K, etc former players that transferred out or were unhappy. Hell, if you pay even the good players that didn’t pan out, they would talk. I hope she sues them for all they are worth #fakenews
