I was in Walgreens last evening, and some woman ask the checker something then walked out. As soon as she was out the door, the checker yells, “WE’RE NOT IN CALIFORNIA!!”. I was kinda clueless, put my goods on the counter to pay, and the checker goes on a rant about how the previous woman was shoplifting, she saw her, then the woman(shoplifter) had the audacity to ask for help. Then she tells me that they can’t do anything, that it’s Walgreen’s policy to just let it go, because the shoplifter can apparently sue, if they attempt to stop them. CSB

Anyway, this ole Baw stepped up and decided he has a way to stop shoplifters, sorry, embed didn’t work:

If you can’t beat them, join them.

Should’ve took your shite off the counter and walked out.

Look at that diversity. It’s such a powerful attribute of our great society.

Most companies have that policy to force the employee to not stop shoplifters. What's really fricked up is... employees (at least in some gas stations) are encouraged to confront shoplifters if they spot one stealing. It's fricked up because what the hell is confronting them gonna do, if the employee isn't allowed to defend themselves or stop the shoplifter from leaving?

A circle k close by even goes so far as to demand women employees not fight back if a robber is going to rape them. Circle k just tells the female employees to soil themselves in an effort to disgust the robber , in hopes he moves on.

Start chopping off limbs

Start with a finger and go bigger from there

1st offense- finger/toe
2nd offense - hand/foot
3rd offense -arm/leg
4th offense - head

That woman yelling “it’s not worth it” -who does she think is going to pay for that stolen inventory? Someone should tell her.

I know a lot of people think shoplifting is not worth physical violence and maybe in isolation that makes sense.

The problem is once a society ignores a problem (ignores the minority that are causing the problem/cheating the system) things will reach a tipping point where others will say “frick it” I’m not going to be the sucker following the rules and paying for these losers lifestyle and over time the entire system breaks down. Once you have more takers than producers your civilization is done until there is a major reckoning that sets things back in order.

Allowing stealing and not enforcing property rights is going to cause a huge problem.

I would not be surprised to see fascial recognition software used to id and ban shoplifters from all stores in chains stores soon. Once the person has been banned cops would be notified as soon as they enter for being a trespasser

I have to believe a more sophisticated and profitable way to shop is coming soon to a major retailer near you. Of course, if it works for them and curtails the theft, the goooooooooooooooooooooooooooberment may not allow it but, instead, will subsidize the theft losses of the major retailers.
