The guy doesn't like dogs. You think he cares about whales?
No honest person can say wind farms are any more environmentally damaging than fossil fuel energy. It's obvious he's just proposing to hurt one industry to help another.

I don't know about that, but if you want to secure an offshore lease, that becomes the federal governments domain

Well isn't that exactly what these organizations like Greenpeace and the politicians who side with them are doing also?

Wind farms kill whales offshore and birds on shore. its not really debated
The Biden administration agrees

The U.S. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration released final plans to protect endangered North American right whales, of which there are only about 360 left in the world.
The agencies said they are trying to find ways to better protect the whales amid a surge of offshore wind farm projects, particularly on the U.S. East Coast. They plan to look for ways to mitigate any potential adverse impacts of offshore wind projects on the whales and their habitat.

I made this pledge a long time ago, without a staff or outside help. I'm sure one of these green companies will give Trump some money and he'll back off, like he did with Big Pharma.
It's not worth anything as an energy source. It's not safe for marine life. And none of it has been done in the open market. It's all subsidies.
Rip it all down.

Personally, I'm not a favor of trying to ban an energy source that can be generated in a safe manner in an open market environment.

toward the growing industry.
The sole reason it's growing is because of political pressure / support/ subsidy. Take that away and it doesn't exist.
The least efficient way to grow the least efficient industry.
Last I heard wind turbines didn't create enough electricity in their service life to pay for their construction. Looks like wind energy's best selling point is that it's creating a support industry.
That's like Glitch McConnell saying continuing the Ukraine war is good because it puts people to work making weapons.

Good. Frick all the "environmentalist" who said nothing as these things destroy the landscape.
Nothing worse than enjoying a drive and then coming across a wind farm.
Get some Nuclear going if you want something clean.

Sure they can. Most people arent buying the co2 climate change nonsense anymore. And there are major concerns with not only wildlife, but disposal, fires, storm damage, land requirements, and cost for wind energy. You cant ignore costs and net environmental impact. The largest windfarm on earth generates 10 GW per year on an area of 173,000 acres. Waterford 3 Nuclear generates over 7800 GW per year on a 3000 acre site. So basically, you would need a wind farm the size of California and Florida combined just to generate what Waterford 3 generates in one year at the same amount of CO2.

Maybe, but he's right. And that exactly what the "green movement" does so maybe step out of the glass house for a moment.

Good.
And while he is at it he should require EV to have a certain range and fast charging. They do this for ICE engines so it should be fine.

Doesnt everyone's hair blow in the wind?
You would need a shiteload of chemicals in your hair to not have it move. or shave it bald.

Yeah because wind turbines wont make america great. Even jon Kerry knows this.

Energy cannot be created or destroyed. We are taking away the wind and think it won’t have any consequences? The same people worried about climate change are literally changing the climate.
An amazing counter argument for which I never get a response.

There should be wind farms out the arse then if it were viable. But they are screaming, we need more subsidies because no one wants this shite.

That’s false for land turbines. They make plenty of money. Off-shore is still up in the air. There’s minimal production modeling and the costs are through the roof.

I’m not for the government banning or targeting wind power.
I very much support the government removing subsidies propping up wind power.

Holy shite. Way to ignore the entire content of my post and prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you are a closed minded partisan who isn’t interested in facts.
