I've lived in New Orleans for almost my entire life, and I always try to say nice things about this city, but the friends I've talked to about this situation all agree despite what he's done throughout the years for New Orleans, it's all worthless because of what he said today. I have retarded friends. We don't deserve Brees. He's way too good for pieces of trash like us. If I'm Brees, I'd give my "teammates" and this shite hole city two big middle fingers, retire, and run off into the sunset. Wouldn't blame him one bit.

Also (not directed at you in particular), I’ll never understand the viewpoint of anyone bashing a guy for donating millions of dollars to charities that actually attempt to help communities/ organizations/ families/ etc. (whether you agree with their stance or not), while said basher walks down a road, changes their profile pic filter and holds a big fricking piece of paper over their head and assumes they’re making a difference
