I’ve made a venison chili for a chili contest. Help me name it please. It has beans and it isn’t super spicy.
So far alajones2 and I have come up with
Deer Lease Special
Beans and Bambi
PETA Salad

Wait...is this a church chili cookoff? Might have to revisit if so.

My ordinary deer chili

I should’ve made it spicier. But it’s for a bunch of old white dudes in Alabama, so I held back a little.

Never do this. Especially at the camp/lodge.

Well, I came in 2nd.
I’m not even mad. First place was some cheesy chicken chili that tasted more like tortilla soup. It did taste good though. But I wouldn’t have even called chili. Frickin Alabama.
This was my entry.

Nice job brother. Congrats. Yours looks great. Yeah if you lose to a chicken chili, chalk it up to terrible judging and move on.
eta: maybe terrible is not the right word.....peculiar. That's better.

Not trying to be a jerk, but your names are awful.

Alabama. Where the BBQ sauce is white and the chili is chicken.

I think I may be dyslexic. I read "Hello my name is chili"

I want to take up for the state, but tortilla soup, while quite good, just is not chili. You should have won.
-- and not all BBQ sauce in Alabama is white. I mostly see tomato- or mustard/vinegar-based sauces in the state. I do like the white sauce on some things.
