Looking for a good restaurant in Lafayette

All suggestions are welcome, steak, seafood, pasta, let me know the places I need to eat while in town.

My favorite casual places are Olde Tyme Grocery for a shrimp poboy, and Spoonbill for the fish sandwich. The latter won a James Beard award for restaurant design.

You're in luck.
Lafayette has tons of good restaurants
Italian: Marcellos, iMonellis, Cafe Bella, Ruffino
Pizza: Central (get the Paulie), Deanos, Pizza Village
Po-Boys: Old Tyme Grocery, Pop's Po-Boys
Burgers: Judice Inn, The Flats (downtown), Max's pool hall (not a joke, might be my favorite)
BBQ: Blanchards (traditional Texas BBQ), Johnsons, Acadian Superette
Tapas: Pamplona
"Elevated" dining: Vestal, Jane's (French Cuisine)
Steaks: Honestly, IMO, Ruth's still has the best steak in Lafayette
Greek/Lebanese: Poseidon's, Zorbas, Athena, Zeus
I'm obviously missing some and look forward to other poster's additions

Try Bourque's, it's better than Max's and the Green Oaks Lounge

Pop's Poboys, Poor Boy's Riverside Inn (I recommend the lump crabmeat entree - see below), Pizza Village, Acadian Superette (daily lunch specials)

Some of the prices seem ridiculous, so I just wouldn’t order the caviar or steaks.

Laura’s 2 (soul food) and get stuffed turkey wings

Someone I trust greatly about food/restaurants said Jane’s was the worst restaurant experience theyve ever had
Charley G’s is the best restaurant in Lafayette. On the somewhat fine dining side
I’ve loved meals at Pamplona and Marcellos
More casual Poseidon and Spoonbiil
For good drinks with decent enough food La Fonda and Don’s

As someone who loves lump crabmeat, this looks wonderful to me.
